“In Bocca al Lupo” is an Italian phrase that literally means “into the wolf’s mouth,” but it’s used to wish someone good luck—much like saying “break a leg.” The traditional response, “Crepi il lupo!” (“May the wolf die!”), completes the charm. Rooted in folklore and the symbolism of the wolf as a powerful, unpredictable force, the expression conveys courage, protection, and a heartfelt wish for someone to face challenges with strength and success.
